how great Thou art

This has to be one of my favorite hymns. Ever.

I have absent-mindedly hummed it to myself countless times while hiking or biking in the mountains. Last Sunday, hiking with my friend Chris in Golden Gate Canyon State Park it came to mind again.

Here is the back story on the hymn (I am always fascinated by back stories of great endeavors of all kinds.)

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,

Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

I did minimal cropping and simply layered two of Kim's textures: kk_prague (Overlay blend mode 50%) and kk_wonderfulmagic (Screen blend mode 50%)...repeating the same editing on each photo.
